For going on seven to eight months now, the continuing narrative from the mainstream media has been this ridiculous Trump-Russia collusion hoax that has been pushed repeatedly by the Democrat party and their media allies (which is essentially the entire mainstream media). Yet, despite the enormous amount of leaks that have been coming forward, not one leak has proven any collusion between Donald Trump and the Russian government. One would think if it were out there, that’d be the main thing the leakers would give to the press, no? It certainly would be plastered all over the pages of the New York Times, Washington Post, and aired non-stop on CNN.
Yet none of that has happened. What we’ve seen instead is a former FBI director, James Comey, testify that not only did Trump not interfere with the Russia investigation, nor did he ask for it to stop, but per James Comey “he went further, actually” when Trump asked Comey to investigate if any of his “satellites” were involved in any wrongdoing, including possible collusion with Russia.
Comey also reaffirmed that he found no evidence of actual votes being changed, which was also attested to by the Intelligence Community (IC) back when Trump was inaugurated in January. The IC released a report (source: https://www.dni.gov/files/documents/ICA_2017_01.pdf) that states on page 3 that there was no indication that Russia managed to alter any systems involved with vote-tallying or vote-counting.
And now another piece of the mystery fell into place about a week ago. On June 21, 2017, former Obama DHS Secretary Jeh Johnson testified before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence regarding the Russian interference. In a surprisingly well-sourced and strangely honest piece from the New York Times (source: https://www.nytimes.com/2017/06/21/us/politics/jeh-johnson-testimony-russian-election-hacking.html), by Emmarie Huetteman, what is outlined is an attempt by the Obama administration to conceal the Russian

interference for as long as possible. Jeh Johnson testified to the fact that DHS and Team Obama became concerned with the intrusion into the DNC (and also attempted with the RNC) during the summer of 2016. Johnson also states that government officials began noticing “scanning and probing” of voter registries in mid-August 2016 and in the following weeks became convinced that Russia was behind it. However, the Obama administration waited until October 7, 2016, to publicly accuse Russia of meddling; Jeh Johnson and former DNI director James Clapper released a statement saying that Russia had leaked information “intended to interfere with the U.S. election process”.
The NYT author, Ms. Huetteman, notes that several Democrats and Republicans questioned why the information was not released sooner. Mr. Johnson, in his testimony, said that they kept a lid on things as to “not politicize the facts”. Even the normally clueless Adam Schiff (D – California) pushed back and said “didn’t the public have a compelling interest to know?”
The problem with Jeh Johnson’s statement about “not politicizing the facts” is this: at the time of Obama officials first being made aware of the Russian meddling (August 2016), Hillary Clinton was the clear front-runner and projected winner for the 2016 election. The initial FBI investigation was over and Clinton was figured to be in the clear.
If the Obama administration really did suspect Donald Trump of being in collusion with Russia, why would they not release the information immediately? It’s not like Obama being on Team Clinton during the 2016 election was a secret – hell, the man campaigned for her in several states!
Instead, Obama and his officials chose to remain silent because Hillary was the front-runner with a clearly big lead. If Hillary had won, as was expected, and the Russian interference came out, obviously Obama and his officials guessed it could be a problem for Hillary and could “taint” her election. It wasn’t until October 7, 2016, when Donald Trump began closing in on Hillary, that the Obama administration finally acknowledged the problem to the nation.
Donald Trump, recently, began firing off a string of tweets to highlight this (such as below):

It’s important to note that when all this Russian interference was going on, Barack Obama was the President of the United States. The responsibility for protecting our nation from foreign adversaries fell squarely on his shoulders. And if what Senator Mark Warner (D – Virginia) said is true, that the Russian interference is “worse than we realize”, then Obama and his officials failed miserably at their job in protecting the American people from a foreign adversary. And Obama chose to ignore that for months, before finally making it public only during the last month before the election.
Oh, but it gets even better.
In response to Jeh Johnson’s testimony, former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz responded to the allegation that the DNC refused to have their servers examined by the FBI. According to the Sun-Sentinel, reporter Anthony Man (source: http://www.sun-sentinel.com/news/politics/fl-reg-wasserman-schultz-homeland-security-wrong-20170622-story.html), Wasserman-Schultz denied this; in fact, she states that she was never contacted about this matter at all.
Given Wasserman-Schultz’s very troubled history with truth and ethics, it’s difficult to say who’s being honest with these allegations. However, it does indicate one thing:
The rats are fleeing the sinking ship.
So let’s recap the facts here:
- Donald Trump was not inaugurated as President until January 20, 2017; the responsibility for protecting America against the hostile Putin regime during 2016 fell on then-President Barack Obama’s shoulders.
- Vladmir Putin and the Russians did attempt to interfere with U.S. elections, and Team Obama knew about this as early as mid-August 2016.
- Obama and his officials did not go public with this information until October 7, 2016.
- Testimony from multiple high-ranking Obama administration officials show no indication that the Russians succeeded in changing any votes during the November 8, 2016 election.
- Former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman-Schultz now disputes the claim that the FBI contacted her or the DNC about examining the DNC server.
- Amid the torrent of leaks concerning the Trump administration, not one leak has shown Donald Trump had any collusion with the Russian government.
The Russia investigation has been focusing on the wrong target all along. The real target of the investigation should be the Obama administration, for it was their responsibility all along to stop Russia from attacking our systems. And to a large extent, Team Obama failed.
